The Lance Creek 4-H Club met on June 4, 2010 at the Travnicek’s. President Trent Johnson called the meeting to order. Members present were Colten Bagent, Jessica Bruegger, Traylin Bruegger, Taten Gaukel, Taylor Gaukel, Drew Hester, Trent Johnson, Joe Kinchen, Taylor Kinchen, Blake Travnicek, Colt Travnicek. Colten Bagent led the American Pledge and Taten Gaukel led the 4-H pledge. Secretary Joe Kinchen read the minutes of the last meeting. Taylor Kinchen moved to approve the minutes and Colt Travnicek seconded, the minutes were approved as read. The Treasurer’s report was given by Drew Hester. Taylor Kinchen gave the Vice President’s report and reminded members of important events.
Tana Kinchen, gave a report of the Council Meeting held in May. Tana stated that the fair results will be posted on the NiobraraCountyFair.com website. Colt and Blake provided cookies, ice cream sandwiches and drinks. The next meeting date was set for July 28, 2010 after the set up day for fair. The meeting was adjourned and the club members proceeded to put up the 4H sign and then began the tour.
